Flute Choir Sight Reading Events
FLUTE FUN is hosting TWO Large Flute Choir Sight Reading Events this Spring:

Both will be held at:
Social Hall of the Methodist Church
275 N. Halcyon
Arroyo Grande, CA
PLEASE BRING A STAND... and Piccolo, C Flute, Alto Flute, Bass Flutes.
You may invite other flutists. RSVP, so I will have an idea how many parts to prepare.
If any out-of-towners would like to stay over night, let me know.
I hope to see some of you have not been able to join us before. We have a great time, good music, and Alice McGonigal will again conduct us.
Flute Fun performs at Day with Creative Women
Our Flute Choir performed at the 35th Annual Day With Creative Women in the Mission Plaza, San Luis Obispo, California. We played for about 40 minutes starting at 1:00p.
Robert Stallman Visits San Luis Obispo!
On April 2-6, 2009, we enjoyed a rare opportunity to meet internationally acclaimed flutist, Robert Stallman. Mr. Stallman's visit featured recitals, master classes, open discussion & mini-performance (with Isabelle Chapuis), flute choir, and private lessons. Read Mr. Stallman's biography here.
Day With Creative Women Performance
On August 9, 2008 eight Central California Coast flutists performed for the San Luis Obispo Women's Community Center "Day With Creative Women" festival at the Mission de Tolosa Plaza. Performers included members of Flute Fun, San Luis Obispo Symphony, Pacific Repertory Opera, Hancock Band, Santa Maria Philharmonic Society, San Luis Obispo Chamber Orchestra, PCPA Theaterfest, and Lompoc Pops.
